Koen Kisters Designer-Ceramicist
"I like to think that I'm organized in most of the things I do. But to be honest, that's not how it usually goes. I just do what comes naturally and see where it takes me. If we plan everything out, then were is the room for chance?"
Koen Kisters (1997) is currently studying at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.
As a designer who has a love for materials, experimenting & working directly with the materials is usually the starting point for his work.
By taking the material and trying to find out what i can do with it, it gives me more insights than for me to contemplate of what i could possibly do with it.
